<p>PURPOSE:To enable a reverse direction reproduction when plural sheets of frame of an image signal are compressed as an image unit, they are recorded in a disk and they are reproduced. CONSTITUTION:These devices are provided with a signal processing part 108 reproducing compressed and recorded moving image data every image unit composed of plural continuous sheets of frame and an image decoding processing part 109 decoding a reproduced signal. At the time of a forward. direction reproduction, the decoding results of I and P frames are written in image memories 113 to 116, the decoding result of a B frame is outputted as it is to an output switch part 110, and the output switch part 110 always outputs the signal from the image decoding processing part 109. At the time of a reverse direction reproduction, the reproduction is performed so that the order of an image unit may become reverse, an interpolation processing is performed for the image stored in an already decoded image memory in an interpolation processing part 112 instead of performing a decoding processing for the part or the whole of the B frame and the image is outputted.</p> |
