PURPOSE:To form the sound reproduction device obtaining a natural sound field effect by using a moving device to move a center speaker in a forward/ backward direction depending on a difference from the distance from each speaker to a viewer and using a control circuit to calculate the distance from each speaker to the viewer so as to control the moving device depending on the difference from the distance. CONSTITUTION:First, second and third reception sections and transmission sections 18, 19, 20 are fitted respectively to right, center and left speakers 10, 11, 12. When a viewer 15 operates a remote controller 17, a radio wave is sent to the speakers 10, 11, 12. When the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reception sections and transmission sections receive the radio wave, the radio wave is sent back to the remote controller 17. The remote controller 17 measures a reciprocating time of the radio wave and a discrimination signal 21 is used to send the result of measurement to a control circuit 22. Based on the information, the control circuit 22 calculates the distance from the speakers 10, 11, 12 to the viewer 15 to allow the speaker 11 to make equal the distance from the speakers 10, 11, 12 to the viewer. |
