METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING HANDWRITTEN DOCUMENT

PURPOSE:To display a handwritten document inputted in arbitrary size in slips with satisfactory balance and to make it into data by correcting the size of a character segmented in an input character segment step in accordance with a previously designated format. CONSTITUTION:A handwritten character input part 1 consists of a tablet and a stylus pen, it detects the handwriting of the handwritten document inputted by a user and converts it into a coordinate data string. An input character segment part 2 segments the character from the handwritten document based on the corodinate data string from the handwritten character input part 1. A character size correction part 3 corrects the size of the character from the input character segment part 2 in accordance with display format information from a display format information setting part 5. A document display part 4 displays the document consisting of the character from the character size correction part 3, and the display format information setting part 5 holds display format information which is set by the user and the like.
