PURPOSE:To provide a small sized impedance conversion element having a large characteristic impedance whose characteristic is unchanged by inserting a microstrip line between a dielectric board with a high dielectric constant and a magnetic board with a high permeability. CONSTITUTION:The impedance conversion element 1 is formed by forming a thick or thin film microstrip line 3 on a high dielectric constant ceramic plate 2 and laminating a high magnetically permeable ferrite plate 4 to cover the microstrip line 3. Then a face mount electrode 5 is formed to cover opposite faces and their surrounding edges of a unit in which the ceramic plate 2 and a ferrite plate 4 with the microstrip line 3 inbetween are integrated, and both ends of the microstrip line 3 are electrically connected to the face mount element 5. A part inserted between the face mount electrodes 5 at both sides is coated by a ground electrode 6 formed so as not to be in electric contact with the face mount electrode 5. |
