PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a projected toner image on the edge parts of an image, caused by the insufficiency of the charge elimination of the surface of a photosensitive body corresponding to a partition on a blank exposure edge part where a light quantity is changed at the time of turning on and turning off a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:A slit 4a exists between LED lamps 2 and the partition part 5a of a shutter member 5 supported by a shaft 6 freely goes in and out at the slit 4a. At the time of turning on a solenoid 8, the partition part 5a enters the slit 4a to regulate the illuminating range of the LED lamp 2. At the time of turning off the solenoid 8, the partition part 5a is at the location as shown by the figure by the force of a tension spring 7, to release the illumination range of the LED lamp 2. The partition part 5a is set at the location shown by the figure just before the LED lamp 2 is turned on or turned off on the boundary of the blank exposure, so that the boundary line of the blank exposure becomes a straight line and the projected toner image is eliminated. |
