Lifting frame (1) for raising and lowering heavy loads, e.g. containers, interchangeable bodies, swap bodies, etc. with corner fittings (8) to ISO and other standards, or other attachment elements, with retractable support legs (7) and lifting devices (14), e.g. air cushions which can operate upwards or downwards, and allow a limited and controlled lateral movement of the container, and guide rails (41) for precise positioning of the lifting frame (1) for transshipment. In addition, individual operations can be partly automated if desired. |
