In a hydraulically operated machine, in particular a machine tool or an injection moulding machine, a mounting surface with integrally cast passages for the control block is provided at the top part of the machine column for the control of the hydraulic motors or hydraulic cylinders for the working units, the passages forming a functional part of the control block. An especially cost-effective control device is thereby obtained and any leakage losses occurring at the control piston are passed directly into the tank, formed by the machine column, without interposition of additional line elements.
