<p>PURPOSE:To provide a bellows, in which thin laminated metal pipe is welded and fixed to a general purpose male-female flange directly, with a flange and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:A bellows part 1 is formed in the center part of a thin laminated metal pipe and a straight pipe part 2 is formed to be continued to both sides of the bellows part 1. When a flange 3 is fitted around both end parts of the straight pipe part 2 to be welded and fixed, a reinforcing expanding part 4 is formed in the straight pipe part 2 excepting the connecting part to the flange 3. The end part of the straight pipe part 2 is brought into pressure-contact with the inner circumferential face of the general purpose male-female flange 3 while being expanded by an expanding tool, and then the straight pipe part 2 is welded and fixed on the inner circumferential face of the flange 3 directly.</p> |
