<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the variation of time between rolling materials in a rolling line and to improve the productivity by reducing the time between the rolling materials. CONSTITUTION:By a control part composed of a host computer and a program controller, ejecting movement is controlled as follows. When a photoelectric tube arranged near the outlet of a heating furnace (i.e., at a position shorter than the length of the rolling material in the distance to a rolling mill) detects the tip part of the preceding material, the host computer calculates the rolling time of the preceding material, and based on this, the ejector is started to drive at the earlier time than the ordinary time and thereafter, lock time (t) in an ejecting roller is calculated. The program controller receives this lock time (t) value and after detecting the rear end of the preceding material bitten to the rolling mill with the photoelectric tube, the ejecting roller is locked by the time (t). During this locking condition, the ejector lays the following material on the ejecting roller. When the locking time (t) passes, the ejecting roller is rotated to feed the following material to the rolling line. By this control, the time between the rolling materials is not affected to the rolling time of the preceding material and the ejecting preparing time.</p> |
