<p>PURPOSE:To always form a proper loop regardless of paper size or the like by providing a load means for suppressing a change of inertia force of an intermediate roller after disconnecting a clutch, in the intermediate roller provided in a register roller and paper feed roller side. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate roller, comprising a drive intermediate roller 4 and a driven intermediate roller 6, is arranged in the intermediate of a paper conveying path 3 and in the upstream of a register roller 2. The drive intermediate roller 4 is driven to be rotated in the counterclockwise direction through a clutch 5, to convey paper toward the register roller 2 in cooperation with the driven intermediate roller 4. A load means 13 for bringing a sliding member 16 by a spring 17 into press contact with a drive shaft 4a given a load is provided in the drive shaft 4a of this drive intermediate roller 4. By this load means 13, rotation by inertia force in a paper feed direction after disconnecting the clutch 5 is suppressed, to obtain a fixed feed amount of the drive intermediate roller 4.</p> |
