Account card terminal with reader - incorporates display unit and set of press buttons for coding and telephone ringing function

The terminal is a complete or divided long unit on which the press button set and display unit are position one after the other, and then behind them is located the slot into which account cards are inserted for reading. This slot can also be located in front of or beneath the other two constituents. The terminal has a width of approx. 30 mm. and all its constituents are located on its top side. It is attachable to a cash till or other corresp. payment, receiving and/or account card checking point. A further module unit can be coupled to the terminal, and carries a telephone hand set. The terminal has a formation which enables it to fixed to the edge of a table top or a corresp. edge of a goods supporting surface, its top surface being located beneath the goods support surface so that the press buttons are unaffected by the goods.
