Method for generating reference variables for position control loops in numerically controlled machines

A method is proposed for generating a reference variable for a position control loop of a numerically track-controlled machine, desired track values being prescribed by a numerical control system as a sequence of time-discrete control values at discrete sampling intervals (k), from which control values, by means of a filter, discrete desired position values are generated which are fed to the position control loop as reference variables. A desired position value (L(k)) is derived in each case from a sequence of desired track values (L(k-n), v(k-i)), which are suitably weighted. Both desired position values and desired track speed values at preceding sampling intervals enter into the determination of a desired position value (L(k)). The weighting of the desired track values is achieved by multiplying by weighting factors. <IMAGE>
