PURPOSE: To control a velocity of a substrate, on which an image is to be formed, at a predetermined value and allow the image to be formed from a front periphery of the substrate. CONSTITUTION: An image formation apparatus I provided at an image formation region Z with a driving roller 22 has a guide-plate assembly 10 for controlling a velocity of a substrate S. The guide-plate assembly has a guide-plate 12 provided with an inlet end 12I and an outlet end 12E. The guide-plate assembly has a pushing finger movable therealong, a velocity-controlling sidewall 12V, and a spring-loaded biasing member disposed along opposed edges of the guide- plate. Thus, the substrate is urged into frictional contact against the velocity- controlling sidewall 12V so as to control the velocity thereof. |
