PURPOSE:To obtain a purified cell proliferation activation factor originated from human hepatocarcinoma and use the factor in the field of pharmaceuticals for hepatocarcinoma and other diseases or as a reagent for the clinical examination of the carcinoma, etc. CONSTITUTION:A polypeptide having a molecular weight of 20,000-35,000 and containing either one of the following amino acid sequences (1), (2) and (3) as the 20 residues from the N-terminal.
