PURPOSE:To attain compactness and reduce a manufacturing cost by reducing a total space of an ink supply tank and a discarded ink recovery tank in an ink jet printer without changing a printing capacity. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 1 in the form of a closed sack is provided within a supply ink chamber 4 to sealingly separate a discarded ink chamber 6 from the supply ink chamber 4. The discarded ink chamber 6, in which no contents are installed, communicates with outside of a tank through a discarded ink recovery port 7, and the supply ink chamber 4 communicates with outside of the tank through an ink supply port 5. |
