<p>The system, the interior (21) of which is shielded from the ambient light, is intended to internally accommodate a document (4) to be analysed under illumination. A plate (11) of polymethyl methacrylate loaded with fluorescent pigments is provided, a first part (19) of which extends outside the system in order to pick up the ambient light (20') and a second part (10) of which penetrates into the system, with an edge (16) turned towards the document (4) in order to illuminate it. In the event of insufficient ambient light (20'), an internal top-up source (22) can be turned on in order to light the face (13) of the plate (11) which is turned towards the system.
