PURPOSE:To provide a display device which develops seven colors by light emitting three primary colors of red, green and blue for every minimum display unit and easily develops many colors more than seven colors including neutral tints. CONSTITUTION:Let four of minimum display units on a display surface be one display unit. Make one of the minimum display units within the display unit be a color development starting position (step 102), a same color is emitted from every other display unit within the display range starting from the color development starting position and from every other row (step 103), similar light emission is performed for other three minimum display units within a display unit (steps 103 to 106) and many colors are developed by the combination of seven colors of four minimum display units within a display unit. |
