PURPOSE:To reduce short-circuit currents due to electrostatic capacitance be tween each main electrode by preventing the simultaneous turn-on of both switching means. CONSTITUTION:In a switching circuit, for example, a winding 6b is connected between the gate and emitter of a P channel type IGBT 36, and a winding 6c is connected between the gate and emitter of a P channel type IGBT 37. Then, the winding 6c, an IGBT 37, the winding 6b, and an IGBT 36 are connected in series in a forward direction between both power supply terminals of a DC power source 1, and both windings 6b and 6c are magnetically coupled so that the turn-on and-off both IGBT 36 and 37 are diametrically opposed to each other. The winding 6d and 6e are magnetically connected with the both windings 6b and 6c, and a diode 4 or 5 is connected in series to the coil 6d or 6e in the forward direction against the inverse bias driving voltage between both main terminal corrector terminal and emitter terminal of each IGBT 36 and 37. Thus, the simultaneous turn-on of the transistors 36 and 37 of the switching means can be prevented. |
