SUPER-HIGH PRESSURE HOMOGENIZATION OF NON-PASTEURIZED JUICE

PURPOSE: To improve the stability in the preservation of citrous juice by leading the citrous juice into a homogenizing valve under a specified pressure and homogenizing it. CONSTITUTION: An unhomonegized product is put from an inlet/outlet conduit 2 into a valve sheet under a pressure of about 15000 psi at least, passed through a slit area between a push rod 3 and the valve sheet at a high speed, passed through a splash ring 4 and discharged from an outlet 5 as a homogenized product. Microbiological activity in juice is lowered and the preservation service life can be prolonged without low temperature sterilization.
