PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration during welding step without loosing the welding strength by a method wherein the clamping device of lead frame welder is provided with a shifting means of a lead frame press member in the vertical and horizontal directions as well as a vibration-proof member is fixed to the contact surface with the lead frame of the frame press member. CONSTITUTION:Within this frame clamping device of lead frame welder, a shifting means 40 is equipped with a switch stopping a pawl lifting motor 48 when a frame press 38 reaches the lifted position from the initial position to actuate a pawl shifting cylinder 49, another switch stopping the pawl shifting cylinder 49 reaching the horizontal shifting position from the lifted position to actuate the pawl lifting motor 48 and the other switch stopping the pawl lifting motor 48 reaching the press sposition from the horizontal shifting position. Next, the junction part 34 of lead frames 31, 32 to be welded is pressed by the frame press pawl 38 provided with a vibration-proof member 43 near the junction part 34 to prevent the spark vibration during the welding step of the lead frames 31, 32 to be fixed with a spring 39. Accordingly, the deformation or discontinuity of Au wire can be prevented. |
