PURPOSE:To form a rectangular coil with no expansion at the straight part of a coil by shifting an outlet roller, which guides a cable after the position of the endmost part of a winding mold in the direction vertical to the drive shaft of the winding mold when the winding mold rotates, and bringing the outlet roller close to the winding mold to such a degree that it does not contact with the outermost periphery of the cable wound on the winding mold. CONSTITUTION:A winding mold 1 is roughly rectangular in cross section, having long sides 11 and short sides 12, and a recess 14 is formed on each side between each corner 13. In the case of winding a cable on the winding mold 1, the winding mold is fixed to a drive shaft 3 so that the long side of the winding mold 1 may be vertical to the horizontal axis X. Next, the end of the cable 10 being wound on an outlet roller 9 through a guide roller 91 is fixed to one end of the winding mold 1, and the drive shaft 3 is rotated. When the drive shaft 3 is rotated once, a winding mold pulley 2 rotates once together with the winding mold 1, and further a crank pulley 5 rotates twice through a timing belt 21. At this time, the outlet roller 9 comes closest to the winding mold 1 in the condition that the long side of the winding mold 1 is vertical to the horizontal axis X. |
