PURPOSE:To correct an error at the time of supplying an electronic component before mounting by holding leads by a groove of a correcting chuck having a diameter larger than that of a lead wire of the component to transfer the component to the chuck, and linearly moving the chuck to hold the component body. CONSTITUTION:A tape 14 of an electronic component 12 to be supplied from a component supply unit 11 is held by a transfer unit 13, drawn and then cut by a cutter 15. Leads 19 are held by a groove 20 of both end members 17 having a diameter larger than that of the lead of the component 12, the component 12 is transferred to the member 17, and a correction chuck 16 is driven via an air cylinder 22 and a link member 21. Thus, the member 17 is linearly moved in parallel with the lead 19 into the groove 20, a body of the component 12 is held to be centered, thereby correcting the position and the lead when an inserting unit is transferred from the unit 11 by the component 12. |
