PURPOSE:To make the improvement of safety, with a visibility enhanced for the succeeding car, by detecting a braking operation to turn on and off the brake lamp in accordance with a car speed. CONSTITUTION:With a car speed detected by a car speed pulse sensor 101 and a braking operation detected by a braking operation pulse sensor 102, both of outputs are calculated by a microcomputer 103, to controll an on-off of the lamp in a manner with the on-off period prolonged while a braking is operated with the car speed at low, and in a constant braking condition, a brake lamp 105 is lighted by a continuously lighting circuit 104. For instace, when the car speed is below a set speed V0, the lamp is continuously lighted. In this way, a visibility for the succeeding car is enhanced at the time of braking operation, capable of improving the safety. |
