WHITE CLAY CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL PREPARED BY DRY PRESS MOLDING, WHICH COMPRISES MONTMORILLONITE ACIDIC WHITE CLAY

PURPOSE: A white clay construction material and its preparation method are provided, to obtain a construction material showing excellent antibacterial effect and far infrared ray emitting property and having a low concentration of Radon by using white clay. CONSTITUTION: The white clay construction material comprises 70-85 wt% of montmorillonite acidic white clay; and 15-30 wt% of clay. The method comprises the steps of mixing montmorillonite acidic white clay and clay and pulverizing the mixture; filtering the pulverized mixture with a sieve and maturing the filtered one for 1-2 days; compressing the matured one with a 600 ton press to obtain a first molded product; drying the first molded product; and sintering the dried one at a temperature of 800-1,300 deg.C. Preferably the white clay construction material is a brick.
