PROGRAMMABLE CHILD PAGING SYSTEM

An improved non-voice one way paging system, method, and devices particularly suited for paging of children based on an unregulated frequency band. It comprises a base station transmitter (100) with a control panel having a digital display (140) and a plurality of wrist watch receivers (200) each equipped with a Liquid Crystal display (LCD) (240) and an audio message annunciator (245). The band or the case of the wrist watch receiver may also act as a receiving antenna (260) or the latter may be etched into the circuitry of the receiver (200). Also included in the receiver are a clock and calendar (280) and a means for data transfer (295).
