A fabric take-up roller arrangement (10) for flat knitting machines is provided with a driven fabric take-up roller (11) which has roller elements (16) arranged next to one another in the axial direction. In order to guarantee that, even in the case of irregular thickenings in the fabric to be taken up, engagement of the fabric take-up roller arrangement occurs both in the region of the thickening and in the adjacent region or regions of the fabric to be taken up, provision is made for the roller elements (16) to engage in one another fixedly in terms of rotation at their ends (22,24) facing one another and each to be held rotatably on a supporting carrier (17), for the supporting carriers (17) to be held pivotably in a direction perpendicular to the alignment of the roller elements (16), for the ends (22,24) of the roller elements (16) facing one another to be mounted in a manner articulated both on one another and in the supporting carrier (17), and for the fabric take-up roller (11) to be pressed against a counter-roller (12), between which rollers (11,12) the fabric web (13) is taken up. <IMAGE> |
