<p>PURPOSE:To restrain the increase in manufacturing man-hour and the increase in a column scale associated with the expansion of equipment capacity and to secure the rigidity of trays in a fractionating column. CONSTITUTION:In a gas-liquid contacting device equipped with a column 1 where plural stages of trays 20 each consisting of perforated plates 21, 22 in which a lot of small holes are formed, a liquid receiver 25 and an overflow pipe 23 fitted to the tray 20 are internally installed and where liquid is caused to flow down from above along the trays while gas is caused to rise from below to bring the liquid into contact with the gas, causing fractionation to be performed, allowing the components of the gas to be separated, perforated plates 21, 21 are made of shapes which plate parts 21a, 22a and reinforcing rib parts 21c, 22c forming a frame are integrally extruded into and a lot of small holes are made in the plate parts of the shapes. Consequently the perforated plates 21, 22 of high rigidity are easily obtained and the assembling of the perforated plates 21, 22 causes the tray 20 of high rigidity to be constituted with a little man-hour.</p> |
