PURPOSE:To provide a toner guide roller making removed toner scraped off by a cleaning blade efficiently adhere and carried, and recovered to a recovering member, and also to provide a method and device for forming an image capable of stably obtaining a high-quality image without damaging a photosensitive body on the process of repeatedly forming the image by means of using a roller. CONSTITUTION:As to the toner guide roller 31, at least a surface is constituted of a continuously porous material, and it has optimum characteristic in terms of porosity, pore-size, specific gravity, and hardness; and in the image forming method and the image forming device, a cleaning device 24 where the guide roller 31 and the cleaning blade 26 are combined is used. The guide roller 31 and the method and device for forming the image in the case the toner guide roller 31 constituted of the continuously porous material is conductive are provided. Furthermore, the method and device for forming the image in which the guide roller 31 constituted of the continuous pore porous material is applied to an organic photosensitive body having an uppermost layer made of binder resin which is polycarbonate or the copolymer of the polycarbonate are provided. |
