<p>PURPOSE:To holding a burning surface at a predetermined temperature or lower and to reduce generation of NOX, CO and unburnt hydrocarbon by utilizing a porous member formed of steel fiber containing chromium and aluminum as the burning surface. CONSTITUTION:A turbo fan 3 is rotated by a motor 2 fixed to a frame 1 to suck the air into a body via a flow regulating valve 5. On the other hand, liquid fuel in a tank 9 is fed under pressure to a surface of a cone 7 in a rotary vaporizer 6 via a fuel pipe 11 by means of an electromagnetic pump 10. A fuel diffusing plate 8 in the vaporizer 6 is rotated by the motor 2 to finely granulate the fuel to scattered and mixed with the air. Premixed gas heated by an electric heater 12 is ignited and burned on a surface of a metal fiber mat 14 of a burning cylinder 13. The mat 14 is formed of a porous member made of steel fiber containing chromium and aluminum.</p> |
