PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic printer in which printing quality is good and the reliability of a device is improved. CONSTITUTION:As to the electrophotographic printer in which an electrifier 2, an exposing device 3, a developing machine 4, a transfer unit 11, a destaticizer 13, and a cleaner 14 are orderly disposed along the external surface of a photosensitive drum 1 in a rotating direction; a cleaning machine 5 and a destaticizing light source 6 for the external surface of a photosensitive body 1 are provided between the developing machine 4 and the transfer unit 11. The cleaning machine 5 is provided with a cleaning member 51 which is brought into contact with the external peripheral surface of the photosensitive body 1, and a pressing member 55 rising and falling so that the cleaning member is brought into contact with the external peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 1 is provided. Furthermore, rolls 57a and 57b moving the cleaning member are provided, so that the cleaning member 51 can move while it is brought into contact with the photosensitive drum 1. |
