PURPOSE:To prevent the unevenness of recording density from occurring by energizing and supplying the specified amount of toner every time an image is formed on a sheet of recording paper, and detecting developed density every time the images are formed on plural sheets of recording paper to supply the necessary amount of toner based on the detected value. CONSTITUTION:The density of a toner image is detected, and the toner is supplied in accordance with the detected value by a microprocessor 14, and other copying control is performed by other microprocessor MPU1. The supply amount of toner in accordance with the size of the recording paper is previously fixed, and the toner of the amount corresponding to copying size is supplied by the MPU1 every time copying is performed. Namely, developing density is detected every time the image is formed on plural sheets of recording paper, and energizing the supply of the necessary amount of toner based on the detected value is performed, so that the toner density is set at a fixed value every time the image is formed on plural sheets of recording paper. By energizing the supply of the specified amount of toner every time the image is formed on the sheet of recording paper, toner density lowering speed caused by repetitively forming the image becomes low so as to prepare for the shortage of the supply of the toner. |
