The compressed hydrogen electrolytic source is formed by electrolytic cells (1) electrically connected in series and an electrolyte reservoir (4) connected with individual cells (1) by the inlet distribution and output collection channel (3, 2). The electrolyte reservoir (4), in relation to the system of electrolytic cells (1), is positioned so as to achieve the given minimum height of the oxygen column in the mixture with electrolyte in the oxygen inlet pipe, formed by the outlet interconnecting and collection channel (6,2), whose inner diameter does not exceed 6 mm. In this way the conditions for continual circulation of electrolyte (5) in the system are created.<IMAGE>
