PURPOSE:To conveniently form the compact of a permanent magnet sufficiently exhibiting the magnetic characteristic of the anisotropic magnetic powder and excellent in metallic function such as conductivity and reworkability. CONSTITUTION:A superplastic metallic powder and a pyrolytic binder are added to an anisotropic magnetic powder, mixed and kneaded. The magnetic powder is mechanically oriented or oriented by a magnetic field, then the binder is pyrolyzed and liberated, the calcined compact is densified by normal sintering, hot pressing, HIP, etc., and a high-performance permanent magnet having a metallic function is produced. |
