<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the timing of a control operation using a microcomputer from being affected with patch correction time in the control using a patch correctable microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Call instructions CALLX1, CALLX2... for cyclically shifting the operation of the microcomputer to a patch correction program on a RAM are intermittently inserted into a control program stored in a ROM. Since invalid instructions NOP by a number reciprocal to the length of the patch correction program are placed after the patch correction program and the microcomputer returns to the program on the ROM after spending waiting time defined by the umber of the invalid instructions after the patch correction program is executed, the length of the time for executing the program on the RAM based on the call instructions by the microcomputer is fixed regardless of the length of the patch correction program and the timing for executing the control program on the ROM is not affected.</p> |
