Power supply and brightness control for LV halogen lamps

The voltage supply control is provided for the l.v. halogen tight units (13a,13b) and is supplied with mains voltage (UN) that is rectified (14). The d.c. voltage is then received by an inverter (15) to provide a high frequency voltage input to a resonator circuit (16) and this provides an output to the load devices. The brightness is varied by varying the high frequency (UHF). A control circuit (17) can be used for remote control purposes. The resonance circuit has an LC stage and connects in series with the primary of a transformer.
