摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a thermally double-stabilized electrode by using a material represented by specific formulas, for an air electrode forming the solid electrolyte type fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell 1 comprises a porous tubular internal air electrode 3, and an airtight external fuel electrode 7 substantially surrounding an outer peripheral part of the air electrode, a solid electrolyte and a fuel electrode are provided with the discontinuous parts, and an electrical interconnecting material 6 is mounted on the air electrode 3 in the discontinuous part. In this structure, the material of the air electrode is represented by a formula (I) Lax Cay MnO3 , and a formula (II) Lax Cay Crz Mn1-z O3 . In the formula (I), x is 0.60-0.72, and y is 0.28-0.40, and in the formula (II), x is 0.60-0.72, y is 0.18-0.40, and z is 0.05-0.15. The gas fuel such as H or carbon nomoxide, is directed to an external of the fuel cell, and an oxygen source is passed through the interior of the fuel cell. Then the generated oxygen ion is passed through an electrolyte material to be moved to an anode, and the electron is collected in a cathode to be supplied to an external load circuit as the current.
