摘要 PURPOSE:To perform high-precision deterioration amount display for a battery by defining a value, which is obtained by dividing a discharge quantity accumulated value when discharging from charge completion to first alarm detection by a value determined from a residual capacity value at alarm detection, as an updated value. CONSTITUTION:By setting a residual capacity to be 10% when a residual capacity alarming means 4 alarms, the frequency of alarming is increased in practical use. Then, the updated accurate capacity of a battery can be obtained from a capacity memory means 9 by dividing a discharge quantity accumulated value when discharging without charging on the way from charge completion to first alarming by 0.9. A rated value memory means 10 memorizes the rated capacity value of a secondary battery 1 and a capacity comparison means 11 determines a deterioration amount from the rate of a value memorized by the capacity memory means 9 to a value memorized by the rated value memory means 10. As a result, a memorized value is easily updated and a high-precision battery deterioration amount display is obtained.
