PURPOSE:To provide an image processor which evaluates the converted binary image data and can take a proper measure in order to automatically erase the vertical line noises or to report these noises to an operator. CONSTITUTION:A segment eliminating part 15 automatically erases the vertical line noises. If the vertical line noises cross the image lines, an image correcting part 16 functions not to erase the intersecting points between both lines. When it is hard to decide the presence of the vertical line noises, these noises are not automatically erased but a user warning part 17 displays a fact that the decision of the vertical line noises is hard. Under such conditions, an operator can take a proper measure based on the display given by the part 17. |
