Constant-current source with additional correction of y-parameter

The current drawn by the load is converted by a current transformer or shunt into an actual-value voltage and applied via a set-point adjuster to an arithmetic mean rectifier.The set-point adjuster by voltage division sets the factor of proportionality w.r.t. the y-parameter. The effective constant current is varied accordingly by the additional correction involving inversion of the y-parameter in a stage switched-in for as long as the current flow is switched-out.
