Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin compositions suitable as materials for automotive exterior trim components that require painting and having high impact strength and dimensional stability comprise 40-90 parts by weight of PPS resin having a sodium content of no more than 700 ppm, 5-55 parts by weight of polyphenylene ether resin, 5-55 parts by weight of polyamide resin having a methylene group/amide group ratio of at least 6 (where A+B+C = 100 parts by weight), and 0.01-10 parts by weight of compatibilizing agent per 100 parts by weight of (A), (B) and (C) combined.
