The pad is of circular or square shape and has two outer layers (2, 3) which are compressed flat and between which there is an inner layer (1) of non-compressed material. The edges (11, 12, 13) of these three layers (1, 2, 3) are connected to one another. The greater the surface compression of the material of the outer layers (2, 3), the less impermeable are these layers to liquids with a pasty consistency. In order to provide depot spaces for such liquids, depressions (5) and/or openings are formed in the outer layers (2, 3). The pad is suitable for applying, removing and/or absorbing liquid or semi-liquid materials in cosmetics, medicine and in numerous technical fields. <IMAGE> |
