<p>PURPOSE: To provide a gain adjustment device for a video signal, which adjusts an R color signal and B color signal based on an inputted G signal to easily adjust a pedestal level and a gain by these adjustment values, and its control method. CONSTITUTION: In a video processing system which records and reproduces an inputted video signal, the input of the R color or B color signal is received through a test probe, and the R color or B color signal is compared with an inputted G color signal by a comparison part 2 to generate an output. The pedestal level and the gain are adjusted in a microcomputer 3 by the signal resulting from this comparison. The microcomputer 3 is connected to the output side and displays the states of adjustment of the pedestal level and the gain, which is performed by the microcomputer, on a display part 30.</p> |
