PURPOSE:To prevent the talc component of copying paper from adhering to a photosensitive body and to prevent image flowing and the missing of an image by providing a copying paper selection means and changing a developing condition in accordance with the kind of the selected copying paper. CONSTITUTION:An original surface is scanned by an optical unit 1, and the image on the original surface is formed on a photosensitive drum 7. The photosensitive drum 7 is electrostatically charged at uniform potential by an electrostatic charging device 2, and the potential of an exposed part is lowered by light irradiation from the optical unit 1, and an electrostatic latent image in accordance with an optical image is formed. The electrostatic latent image is developed with toner by a developing unit 3 having developing roller 4 biased by a developing bias power source 5. It is transferred on the paper supplied from a paper feeding device 10 and also the paper is peeled at the position of a transfer peeling device 6. The paper on which the image of an original is transferred is allowed to pass through a fixing device 9 and ejected to a tray. Toner or paper powder left on the photosensitive drum is removed by a cleaning device 8, and hereafter similar copying is executed. |
