METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING SUDDEN CHANGE IN PRESSURE INSIDE VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To provide a method or an apparatus for changing the inside pressure of a vehicle at a determined rate when the outside pressure of the ventilated or air-conditioned vehicle changes suddenly. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for eliminating sudden changes of pressure inside vehicles comprises a detector 16 which detects aging changes by time in the outside or inside pressure of a vehicle and delivers signals representative of said changes, and closure means 6, 7 for closing an outside air suction duct and an inside air rejection duct. The apparatus receives signals of the detector, and closes the outside air suction duct and the inside air rejection duct. The said two ducts are closed when the aging change ratio of the inside pressure or the outside pressure has risen up over a first determined ratio. The apparatus also comprises a control unit 14 for releasing again the said two ducts when the inside pressure or the aging time change ratio falls down below a second set ratio, and comprises means for balancing the inside pressure and the outside pressure by generating a controlled air flow between the outside and the inside of the vehicle.
