SIMULTANEOUS MULTI-ADDRESS COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR DYNAMIC PICTURE INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To simultaneously distribute a series of dynamic picture information having the same content to plural terminals and to allow each terminal to independently execute specific reproduction. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 11 has the 1st high speed storage device 16 and the 2nd storage device having large storage capacity. An image distributing center 12 simultaneously transmits a series of dynamic picture information to plural terminals 11 through a network 13 and a distribution exchange node 14. The terminal 11 stores the received dynamic picture information in the device 17 in each frame and stores frame managing information consisting of the size and storing position of a frame concerned in the device 16. In a normal reproducing mode, frames stored in the device 17 are successively read out and reproduced to display an image. In a reverse fast-forwarding mode, the frames in the device 17 are jumped and read out while tracking the frame managing information of the device 16 in the reverse direction.
