PURPOSE:To facilitate formation of a colored layer, and disperse a harmful blue light reflected from the colored layer by coloring a whole glass bulb, and removing an unnecessary portion by means of a shot blast method after applying a mask to the necessary colored layer. CONSTITUTION:A colored layer 23 allowing the transmission of a yellow color is formed on a whole glass bulb 14. The mask 22 of a desired shape is applied to a portion which positions on the opposite side of a shade and transmits directly the light of a low beam filament. Hard fine particles are jetted to the whole bulb 14 by means of a shot blast method so as to remove the colored layer 23 besides the mask 22, and frosting processing is conducted on the surface of the bulb 14 so as to be slightly opaque frost-like. The mask 22 is removed so as to obtain a desired shape colored layer 19 transmitting the light of the low beam filament directly. A black portion 18 is formed at the tip of the bulb 14 by coating. Thereby, the surface of the bulb besides the colored layer becomes frost-like, a harmful blue light reflected from the colored layer is dispersed, and the intensity is reduced so as to obtain the lamp bulb whose light ununiformity is unnoticeable. |
