<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method in which a spherical three-dimensional netlike assembly can readily be produced. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a three-dimensional netlike assembly is to extrude a synthetic resin material having a moderate viscosity in a molten state through a nozzle 2, form many wires 3, simultaneously take off the wires while being unsolidified at a lower speed than the extrusion speed, thereby make the respective wires meander, gather the wires into a three-dimensional netlike form while mutually bonding the wires in the intact molten state and then cool and solidify the wires. In the step for cooling and solidifying the wires in the method, the netlike assembly 13 is passed through a gap between a nearly bowllike outer metallic mold 6 and a spherical inner metallic mold 7, having a rotating shaft 8, provided with unevennesses on the outer surface thereof and rotatably arranged on the inside of the outer metallic mold 6 and thereby bent into the form of a circular arc and solidified to form the cross section into a nearly semicircular shape. The solidified netlike assembly 13 is then cut to a suitable length and the cut surfaces of both ends are mated and integrally joined.</p> |
