PURPOSE:To provide the optical recording material which has a high sensitivity in a long wavelength region and with which high CN is obtainable. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording material contains the photochromic compd. expressed by formula. In the formula, A denotes an oxygen atom or (substd.) nitrogen atom. R5 denotes >=4 to <=16 alkyl group; R1 to R4 respectively denote a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxy group, etc., B denotes a (substd.) thiophene ring, benzothiophene ring, pyrrole ring and indole ring. |
