PURPOSE:To remember finger plate positions to be pressed when a melody is played, and press chord for the rhythm with one finger and plays the rhythm by arranging switches at the finger plate of a guitar. CONSTITUTION:The stringed instrument A has string strum sensors 2 arranged at one-end sides of the strings 1, a finger plate switch group 4 on the finger plate between respective frets 3, and pilot lamps 5 adjacently to the finger plate switches 4. In the body B of the guitar, a speech synthesizing circuit 6 wherein a sound source is digitized and recorded and a recording medium (e.g. FD) 7 are incorporated; and the finger plate switches 4 and string strum sensors 2 operate associatively with each other and a microcomputer 8 which inputs performance for taking a specific sound out of the sound synthesizing circuit 6 and other performance is connected by an electric conductor. Then pilot lamps 5 at finger plate positions are turned on according to a melody to display and guide the finger plate positions to be pressed. |
