PURPOSE:To provide ink jet recording paper strong in its surface, giving brilliant printed products, excellent in ink absorbency, giving an uniform printed image quality, excellent in the water resistance of the printed products, and capable of being applied to general high speed ink jet printing machines giving high- resolving powers. CONSTITUTION:An ink-receiving coating layer containing a pigment having an oil-absorbing amount (JIS K 5101) of 60-290ml/100g, an esterified starch and a water-insoluble cationic polymer as main components is disposed on at least one surface of paper consisting mainly of cellulose pulp. |
